LPT Police Verification Addresses
Anyone who wishes to be LPT is required to be of good character.
In order for the EC-Council to determine whether you are
of good character, you may be asked to provide a police certificate.
Police verification is
preferred, though not mandatory. However, one of the requirements of
being able to avail a license in Penetration Testing is that the
candidate should be able to supply a photocopy of his /her criminal
background check that is available through any local law enforcement
agency. The document should certify that the individual does not
have any criminal record/background.
This template explains how to obtain a police
certificate. Please check the list of countries and areas below. If
you have lived in any one of them for a total of one year or more in
the last 10 years, you must get a police certificate from the
authorities in that country or area. If a country is not listed,
please contact the nearest office of the department for further
information.
Police certificates are often only available to current
residents or to citizens where these restrictions apply, it will be
indicated under the relevant country. For some countries, different
procedures are shown for residents and non-residents.
Note: The term ‘residents’ under each
country listing refers to applicants who are currently residing in
that particular country. Details shown are subject to change without
notice by the authorities of the relevant country, and the
EC-Council can take no responsibility for their accuracy.
