Update : September 3rd, 2008

EC-Council has commenced legal proceedings against Security University and Sondra Schneider (in personal capacity) for trademark infringement, copyright infringement, unfair competition, defamation, unlawful interference with contractual relations, trade disparagement, false advertising, misappropriation of identity, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment in the Federal court of New Mexico.

EC-Council will go to great lengths to ensure that only authorized training centers are running legitimate classes using authorized materials as it will ensure that the students will have an equal opportunity to attain EC-Council certifications.
