JAY BAVISI, PRESIDENT, EC-COUNCIL
Jay Bavisi is the Co-Founder and President of EC-Council, a global leader in
information security education, training, and certification. Formed following the 9/11 incident, EC-Council addresses issues of cyber terrorism raised at the forefront of security of nations at large. It is the owner and developer of the world famous Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH),
Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI), Secure Analyst (ECSA), and
Licensed Penetration Tester (LPT) certification programs.
Jay led the efforts in establishing the partnership with the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), an arm of the United Nations, via the International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) to develop sustainable knowledge and capabilities in information security awareness amongst government agencies in 193 Member States.
An information security evangelist and architect, he regularly shares his insights with law & policy makers at various international conferences and seminars such as, Interop Las Vegas, CSI, Techno Security, and Techno Forensics. Jay was also the Chairman of the Keynote Hackers Panel at Infosecurity Europe, the Closing Keynote Speaker for ITWeb Security Summit, South Africa, and also the combined Keynote Speaker for Techno Security/ Hacker Halted USA, Keynote for IDC Security in Finland. His key expertise is in the area of
Ethical Hacking, Information Assurance and Computer Forensics with a special focus in the government space internationally having recently been invited to speak at the US Department of Homeland Security Software Assurance Forum, and Department of Defense Cybersecurity Conference.
His audiences include executives of multinational corporations like Dow Jones, Lloyd’s, Merrill Lynch, Microsoft, Shell, HSBC, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Standard Chartered, American Express, MCIS – Zurich, Schipol Airport Authority, KPMG, Deloitte Consulting, Trend Micro, IDC, S.E.A. His views were also featured by ABC News, USA Today, The Christian Science Monitor, Boston and Gulf News.
Having always championed Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures, Jay is a prolific writer. His most recent work can be seen in the Computer and Information Security Handbook published by Elsevier in 2009.

Sean Lim
Vice President
Sean Lim is responsible for the deployment of EC-Council’s highly sensitive information security curricula and action plans to its training partners across 60 countries globally. He leads a team responsible in ensuring that all EC-Council technical trainers achieve the highest standard of training delivery and that all participants of EC-Council’s training programs benefit immensely from the training.
Sean also leads the development of EC-Council University’s presence into Asia. In that role, he is appointing partner universities in Asia’s rapidly growing education markets to deliver EC-Council University’s Master of Security Science program. This role is taking him across Asia and this is where he sees tremendous opportunities for EC-Council University’s growth.
With over 18 years of experience in the training and education industry, Sean was instrumental in introducing and developing quality international IT training and education businesses to countries across the Asia Pacific region including the Middle East and Africa regions. He has worked with university partners from the USA, UK and Australia, bringing their education solutions to these markets.
He has vast experience in developing franchising and licensing solutions for the training and education market including online learning solutions, which saw him establishing over a few hundred learning centers in across more than 30 countries globally. In the online education space, Sean contributed to the conceptualization, development, and marketing of an online learning environment which saw the introduction of the Asia’s first fully online Bachelor of IT which was hugely successful.
Sean travels widely and speaks at various information security events, education and technology conferences regionally touching on the latest trends and developments in these areas. He has been invited to speak at regional franchising and licensing platforms where he shares with business leaders and entrepreneurs on how quality education on any mode can be franchised and licensed as an effective learning and business model.

Let's put it this way, he loves computers. Period. Haja lives in the world of binary languages. He has over 92 industry certifications ranging from Cisco, Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, Nortel, Motorola, Apple etc. He is a hard core Apple Fan.
Steven Graham
Director, North America
As a native New Mexican, Steven brings over 15 years of IT experience, 9 of which have been security focused, along with 7 years commercial training program management and development. Steve was previously a Program Director for one of the world’s largest training provider. Under his leadership are EC-Council | Education, EC-Council | Press, EC-Council | Media Services and EC-Council | Global Services.
Since Joining EC-Council, Steve has lead multiple teams in North America in the creation of an online Learning Platform to serve remote Learners and Partners on EC-Council Certifications, as well as creating the Academic Solution (EC-Council | Press) in partnership with Cengage Learning. Steve has coordinated the launch of EC-Council Media Services including an online Newspaper with globally syndicated news, Online Information Security Magazine, and Security Blogs, as well has liaising with different Entities of the United States Government regarding program requirements ranging from City programs up to the Department of Defense teams coordinating Directive 8570.1m.
Eric Lopez
Director of Online Learning, Conferences and Events (EC-Council North America)
Eric joined EC-Council in 2008 and launched the online training division (iClass) world wide. iClass has grown to be a premiere service offering to the Cyber Training markets globally. Teamed with Authorized Training Centers around the world, the iClass platform leverages today’s best technology in virtual classroom as well as mobile systems accommodating various learning styles and enhancing partner training options. Eric has been instrumental in partner negotiations and product enhancements leveraging current technologies leading to the delivery of training programs online, in DVD format, even loaded onto tablet devices for remote training where no training centers are available. In February of 2012, Eric was entrusted with another key role at EC-Council, as it's Director of Global Events.
With over 15 years experience in IT training direct sales and general management while applying strong expertise in sales-driven, consultative business negotiations, Eric will be a welcome addition to the conference and events division as the new Director of Conferences and Events.
Previous to Eric’s tenure with EC-Council, Eric held various positions as Owner , General Manager, Sales Manager, Training Manger, Operations Manager and Trainer for various New Horizons Computer Learning Center franchises and eventually for New Horizons Worldwide Inc. Eric was a co-owner of two separate New Horizons franchises and has led these companies through start-up, survival, turnaround and growth modes.
As an instructor Eric set records by delivering 17 consecutive courses where each student gave Eric a perfect evaluation score in every category. The record was still in place when Eric left that organization. As an instructor Eric taught over 1800 students with a cumulative student evaluation average of 9.78.
As a Sales Manager Eric broke and set new sales and collections records at the Albuquerque, NM, and Tucson, AZ locations. Eric also set the New Horizons world wide first year start up record at the Santa Cruz, CA location and the business was awarded, “Rookie of the Year.”
As a General Manager Eric led his companies to develop strong business processes and motivated his staff to turn in stellar performances which in turn led his centers to high profitability. Eric’s El Paso Texas location made the list of New Horizons’ “fastest to $100k” during its start up phase. Eric also made New Horizons Worldwide Inc.’s “Circle of Excellence” for turning around literally every aspect of the Albuquerque, NM location in 2007.
Eric lopez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising Design.
Hanan WagieSenior Director – EMEA
Ms. Hanan Wagie is EC-Council's Regional Director responsible for managing and directing EC-Council’s business in Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) & India. Her primary role is to grow demand for EC-Council certifications by increasing sales, supporting distributors, appointing key training partners and driving the overall marketing and business development strategy.
Having joined EC-Council in the role of Certification Manager, Hanan went on to take management responsibility and played a key role in managing distributors and streamlining key processes. She occupied a number of senior operational and marketing roles, before being promoted as Regional Director of EMEA & India.
Prior to EC-Council, Hanan worked for five years at Shell. Her exceptional record allowed her to occupy several managerial posts in such short period of time including Assistant Commercial Sales Manager, Territory Manager and Supply Chain Manager.
Hanan earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Business Administration studies. At 30 years of age, she has amassed more than 10 years of working experience in various functions including sales, marketing, supply chain, operations and logistics.
Director of Finance
Michael Tamasi
Mr. Tamasi has over 25 years experience in the accounting and tax field. Mr. Tamasi established Tamasi & Associates Ltd. in Boston, Massachusetts where his firm provided accounting, pre-audit services and income tax services to individuals and a wide variety of companies.
Mr. Tamasi is currently employed by the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra where he been since 1994 as the Vice President of Finance and Administration. In addition to his role at the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Tamasi maintains a consulting practice providing accounting and tax services for individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations such as EC-Council.
Mr. Tamasi has worked with a number of Albuquerque area organizations, including the Albuquerque Community Foundation, Chamber Music Albuquerque, Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation, St. Martins Hospitality Center, VSA Arts of New Mexico and Albuquerque Arts Alliance to name a few. For his dedication to community organizations, Mr. Tamasi was awarded “Top CFO” by the New Mexico Business Weekly in November 2007. Mr. Tamasi also serves as Board Treasurer for VSA Arts of New Mexico.
Mr. Tamasi is currently completing his B.S. in Accounting at Western Governors University which is based in Salt Lake City. Mr. Tamasi has completed various training and educational programs which include the Non Profit Management program and the Human Resource Management program by University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management. Mr. Tamasi has completed the New Mexico 9000 (ISO 9001:2000) and Practice and Process of Auditing sponsored by Sandia National Laboratories, Honeywell FM&T (Kansas), Los Alamos National Laboratory and New Mexico Economic Development.
