Myrtle Beach has become very popular destination especially
during the summer months. If you want a room at the
conference hotel, you must reserve your room as early using
the form described above. We have negotiated a
special rate at the Marriott for $194 per
night plus taxes.
Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes was
chosen as the conference hotel for a number of reasons.
It's setting on the crystal-white sands of beautiful Myrtle
Beach in South Carolina invites you to experience the
warmth of true Southern hospitality. Due to the growing
popularity of our annual Techno Security Conference, hotel
rooms at our conference hotel sell out very early.
The 2008 conference will again take place in one of the
most popular months of the summer at Myrtle Beach. It's not
unusual for hotels be fully reserved 6 months in advance.
Once our primary conference hotel fills, we will be listing
our overflow hotels for 2008. We typically have at least
three additional hotels available within a ten minute drive
from our conference hotel.
Myrtle Beach is very popular during the spring and summer
months, so please make your hotel reservations early using
the form described above.
The
conference hotel, the Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande
Dunes is now accepting reservations for Techno
Security/Hacker Halted USA 2008.
IMPORTANT
There is a new process this year for reserving rooms at the
conference hotel in order to insure that Techno
Security/Hacker Halted attendees receive first priority for
all available rooms during our conference. The hotel will
require each attendee to complete a simple form as a part
of the hotel room registration process. This form will be
available through a link in the confirmation email you
receive after you register for the conference. This
hotel normally sells out very early, so please register as
early as possible to insure you get a room at the
conference hotel.
Online
reservations will NOT be available and only registered
Techno Security/Hacker Halted attendees will be able to
book a room at the hotel.
