Cary, N.C. – June 6, 2006 - Global Knowledge, the largest privately held provider of training and enterprise learning services for information technology (IT) and management professionals, announced today that it is expanding its award-winning security curriculum with two courses that map to the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) and Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) program sponsored by the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants.

“Our customers have frequently requested CEH and CHFI courses to help prepare them for certification and to acquire the skills necessary to round out their security training and expertise,” said Mike Walsh, Product Director, Networking and Advanced Networking at Global Knowledge.

Global Knowledge will begin offering the new vendor-neutral courses as instructor-led instruction in its various training centers as well as in private, on-site locations. Students will learn strong security system techniques, including how to create countermeasures that will prevent or contain hacker attacks. Certification exams can be taken at either Prometric or VUE testing centers.

“With a network of training centers worldwide and a commitment to expert instruction that yields hands-on skills and certification preparation, Global Knowledge is an ideal partner for the EC-Council,” said Jay Bavisi, the President of EC-Council.

A Certified Ethical Hacker is a skilled professional who understands and knows how to look for the weaknesses and vulnerabilities in target systems and uses the same knowledge and tools as a malicious hacker. Information Security professionals that carry the CEH certification are qualified to administer non-destructive penetration testing to e-Commerce, e-Business, IT security, and other types of computer networks or systems.

Global Knowledge provides broad-based information security training that includes general security skills-building and vendor-specific courses and certification preparation from Microsoft, Foundstone, Cisco, Nortel, and Red Hat.
