Paris, Aug 26th 2021  EC-Council has expanded its highly successful Certified Secure Computer User (CSCU) program to French, specially tailored for the Francophone communities worldwide to promote greater awareness of computer security best practices.

The translation was made possible through collaborative efforts with EC-Council’s official training partner, AdDo. Market data continue to demonstrate growth in the demand for certified cyber security training, with France ranking second in the EU and ninth globally.

CSCU is one of EC- Council’s most popular programs. CSCU training provides individuals with the skill set necessary to protect their information assets in a digital environment. Through this training, participants can equip themselves with the essential skills and acquire a basic understanding of computer and network security threats to take the steps required to mitigate threat exposure.

“In the wake of escalating cybercrimes, understanding security issues has become vital. Further, as we move towards a virtual environment, it falls upon each individual to learn the best security practices to prevent threats,” said Sean Lim, Chief Revenue Officer of EC-Council. He added, “We are committed to bridging the skills gap and breaking the language barriers to make our computer security certification available to a larger audience. Through this endeavor, we hope to create a movement in enhancing security awareness and build a safer cyber landscape.”

The CSCU certification equips students with the basic skills in computer security they can build on to keep their and their organizations’ data safe. The courseware comes with demo videos and scenario-based discussion questions to allow students to gain essential skills. Participants can choose from various training options, including self-paced and instructor-led training.

CSCU is already being taught in French via AdDo, the official training center of EC-Council in New Caledonia, and candidates have been absolutely satisfied with their training experience.
