CERTIFICATION POLICIES

1. How long do I need to wait for my certificate to reach me after taking the exam?
A.

You will receive your certificate along with your Welcome letter within 4-8 weeks from the date of your exam and if you do not receive your certificate within the stipulated period, kindly contact http://www.eccouncil.org/Support/ticket-new.

2. Do I have to recertify my IIB certifications in order to maintain the validity of the certification?
A.

As a certified member, you are expected to comply with the EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) Policy and maintain your certification at EC-Council Delta Portal. Click here (https://cert.eccouncil.org/ece-policy.html) to find out more on ECE Policy.

3. What does the certificate welcome kit consists of?
A.

The certification Welcome Kit consists of a hard copy of your IIB certificate along with a welcome letter. You would also receive an Invitation from Aspen portal on your registered email ID, where your certificate would be available in digital format. If you do not receive your Welcome Kit and/or Invitation, you can contact us at http://www.eccouncil.org/Support/ticket-new.

4. Who can I contact to submit my appeal on exam related issues?
A.

Contact Cert Manager at http://www.eccouncil.org/Support/ticket-new if you would like to submit an appeal, challenge an exam result or exam item or report a member violation. The forms can be downloaded as below:

Should I attend training to attempt an IIB exam? IIB recommends, but not mandatory, that IIB aspirant attend formal training to reap maximum benefit of the course and have a greater chance of clearing the exam.

5. How long is my voucher valid for?
A.

Exam vouchers are valid for a maximum period of 1 year from date of purchase. Exam vouchers can be extended for 3 months before the expiration date for a fee of USD 35. Kindly contact finance@eccouncil.org for extension of exam vouchers.
