# EC-Council

> EC-Council (International Council of E-Commerce Consultants) is a global leader in cybersecurity education, training, and certification. Founded in 2001 and accredited under ISO/IEC 17024, EC-Council has certified more than 400,000 cybersecurity professionals across 170+ countries. It is the creator of the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) program and offers role-based certifications in ethical hacking, penetration testing, digital forensics, network defense, cloud security, incident response, SOC operations, AI security, and executive leadership. Certifications such as CEH, CND, ECIH, CHFI, and CCISO are recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense under DoD 8140.
