EC-Council | Academia Student Ambassador Program

The EC-Council Academia Student Ambassador Program provides the opportunity for enrolled college and university students to become Cyber Security leaders on campus and within their communities. Our student ambassadors are passionate about Cyber Security education and technology, committed to encouraging others and sharing knowledge, ideas, innovations, and skills. They understand that positive influence and information sharing brings individuals with similar aspirations together to have a lasting impact. EC-Council Academia Student Ambassadors work closely with EC-Council technology experts, education influencers, and marketing to introduce EC-Council technologies and resources to enhance EC-Council’s footprint on campus.

Applying As An EC-Council | Academia Student Ambassador Program

Students interested in applying for the EC-Council Academia Student Ambassador program can apply here. Student Ambassadors will be selected on a per state/region basis depending on their traits identified during the application process.

Student Ambassadors will be introduced to a vast amount of EC-Council technologies and resources, gaining highly desirable access and privileges existing students would normally be required to pay for. They will also receive gear along the way as they share EC-Council information and experiences, via campus clubs, social media, community events and VLOG’s. Become an information security leader and share how EC-Council has influenced you as a student in the realm of Network Defense, Ethical Hacking, Pen Testing, Digital Forensics, Incident Response or another EC-Council domain focus! Select Student Ambassador efforts will be highlighted and recognized by the EC-Council Group to a network of over 200,000 information security professionals! Students within all degree programs are welcome to apply.

  • You must be an enrolled student in an academic program at the High School, Associates, Bachelors, Master, or Certificate level program.

Functions of a Student Ambassador:

  1. Help Us Share Who You Are…
    • Full Name, Alias Name, Photo, Institution, Location and Specialization to be displayed on select EC-Council Academia resources.
      (E.g. Select a “Tag”… Secure, Defend, Attack, Investigate, Specialize, Pen Test, Lead)
    • EC-Council Student Ambassador Virtual Photo ID Card
  2. Help Educate Others About EC-Council…
    • Educate other fellow students on EC-Council courses and technologies (e.g. Information sharing sessions or webinars with technology displays and demonstrations)
    • Facilitate on campus interviews and Q&A sessions with EC-Council expert (e.g. ‘Ask An Expert’ – Topic: Pen Testing)
    • Facilitate activities within his/her on campus Cyber Club(s) (e.g. Live lab tutorials)
    • Engage EC-Council support within onsite campus clubs and activities (e.g. technology forums or events)
    • Video Log’s (VLOG’s) of on campus events and experiences (e.g. Sharing video footage at a local Hack-A-Thon with team footage and pre/post event interviews)
    • Article Submission(s) (e.g. New technology, creation, or experience)
    • Possible Speaker/Presenter opportunities at EC-Council events (e.g. Leading student forum, technology demonstration or round table discussion)

After graduation, ‘EC-Council Academia Student Ambassadors’ may stay involved as ‘EC-Council Ambassadors’ to mentor other Student Ambassadors, continuing to influence others in their respective businesses and communities with the support of EC-Council at a professional level.
