UAE students to get cyber security training
October 11, 2010 EC-Council

School students in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will undergo special cyber security training to learn various safety measures while using the internet.

A series of lessons will be offered to school children during an “information security awareness camp” launched across the nation by the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) and the International Council of E-Commerce Consultants (EC-Council).

The lessons are specifically designed to raise awareness of the students regarding the online threats that might endanger them while using the internet. The programme will also educate students about optimal use of the social networking sites and how to avoid suspicious websites.
