Executive-level responsibilities, including CISO, CIO, CTO, or equivalent roles.

Recognized professional standing, such as EC-Council CCISO, CISSP, or comparable credentials.

Membership Process

Share your name, organization, role, years of experience, and primary industry.

Confirm Certification Status

  • EC-Council Certified Professional (In Good Standing) Verified through your registered email and Continuing Education (CE) records. You contribute only the chapter membership fee (e.g., $20).
  • Non-Certified Professional / Lapsed Status For executives without EC-Council credentials, or with expired CE status. Membership requires the EC-Council membership fee ($100) in addition to the chapter fee ($20).

Membership is designed for senior leaders in cybersecurity and technology, including CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, and executives responsible for information security strategy. 

To join, members are generally expected to have:

  • 15+ years of professional experience in technology or cybersecurity. 
  • Executive-level responsibilities in their organization. 
  • Recognized certifications such as EC-Council CCISO, CISSP, or equivalent. 

If you hold an EC-Council certification in good standing, you’re automatically eligible for a streamlined membership path.

  4. Complete payment (chapter dues + EC-Council membership fee if required). 
  5. Receive your confirmation email and immediate access to your membership portal. 

If your Continuing Education (CE) fees expire, your certification status changes from “in good standing” to “not in good standing.” You’ll still be able to keep your CISO Council membership by paying the EC-Council membership fee in addition to chapter dues, but certain benefits may be limited until your CE status is restored.

Yes. Members may transfer to a different chapter at any time by updating their profile. Chapter dues may differ by region.

Membership and chapter fees are non-refundable, except in rare cases of administrative error.
