Topic: : Creating an Enterprise Data Governance Strategy for the AI Era
Abstract: As organizations accelerate AI adoption, the quality, availability, security, and integrity of enterprise data have become critical to successful AI outcomes. AI systems are only as reliable as the data they consume, making effective data governance essential for organizations seeking to scale AI responsibly while managing security, privacy, compliance, and operational risks. The current webinar explores how organizations can build a modern enterprise data governance strategy designed for the AI era. It will examine how traditional governance approaches must evolve to address AI-specific challenges, including data lineage, ownership, classification, access controls, data quality, privacy, regulatory requirements, and the use of sensitive data in AI models. The session will also explore the relationship between data governance, AI governance, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance, providing a practical framework for aligning these disciplines. Join us to gain insights into how to establish a clear data ownership and accountability, strengthen data quality and lineage, implement appropriate controls for AI data usage, and create governance processes that support both innovation and risk management.
