ECSA Grandfathering Program – Terms and Conditions (T&C)

Eligibility Documentation

Candidates must submit accurate and complete details of their professional experience and/or valid certification(s) during the application process. Incomplete, inaccurate, or unverifiable applications may be delayed or rejected at EC-Council’s sole discretion and without any liability thereof.

Application Review and Onboarding

The evaluation process will begin only after the application has been successfully submitted, as per the criteria specified, and on boarding will only be initiated after payment has been received. EC-Council will not proceed with verification until these steps are completed.

Misrepresentation / Fraud

Any falsification, misrepresentation, or fraudulent submission of documentation or verifier information will result in immediate disqualification from the program, and may result in permanent ban from all EC-Council programs.

Notification of Status

Candidates will be notified via email regarding the outcome of their application. If an application is denied, the decision is final and not subject to appeal. However, candidates may pursue the traditional exam-based path to earn the ECSA certification.

Non-Responsive Verifiers

If a nominated verifier does not respond, the candidate may be asked to provide alternate references. A lack of verifier confirmation may result in delays or rejection of the application.

Certificate Validity

The ECSA certification awarded via the Grandfathering Program is valid for three (3) years from the date of issuance. Candidates must fulfill EC-Council’s Continuing Education (ECE) requirements to renew.

Program Scope

The ECSA Grandfathering Program is available for a limited time and may be withdrawn, extended, or modified at EC-Council’s discretion without prior notice.

Award of Certification

The award of any certification is at the sole and absolute discretion of EC-Council, based on its assessment of the candidate’s eligibility, performance, and compliance with applicable requirements. All decisions regarding the granting, denial, suspension, or revocation of certification are final and not subject to appeal or challenge.

Upgrade to Other Certifications

While the ECSA Grandfathering Program does not directly lead to higher-level certifications,certified individuals may pursue additional EC-Council credentials by meeting separate eligibility criteria and exam requirements.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

All application and certification fees are non-refundable once payment is made, regardless of the outcome of the application review.
