About EC-Council Middle East

The governments, the enterprises and the organizations present in the area are privileged targets for numerous categories of actors, like cyber criminals and state-sponsored hackers. The analysis of malware diffusion in different states in the area, including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, shows infection rates of 10 to 12.9 computers per thousand, nearly twice the worldwide average for infection rates. – Tim Rains, Director of Trustworthy Computing, Microsoft on the cyber threat landscape in the Middle East. Understanding this very need, EC-Council is working earnestly, to enable training providers in the Middle East (for the following countries, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan) and Turkey to help their clients protect themselves against cyber-threats with hands-on training of international repute. This effort is needed today more than ever as cyber-attacks are on the rise. This effort is set to further accelerate the swift adoption of EC-Council cyber security training and certification in these countries.
Currently, EC-Council is supporting the International Multilateral Partnership against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) which is a partnership organization of the United Nations International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to provide training and sponsorship totaling US$1m to governments of 191 member states.
