One of the Leading Providers of Information and Communications Technology Training Partner with EC-Council to Train Students in a Unique Course That Offers Vendor-Specific and Vendor-Neutral Cloud Security Approaches
TAMPA, Fla, October 11, 2022— EC-Council, inventor of the Certified Ethical Hacker standard and a global leader in cybersecurity education, has partnered with DDLS to launch instructor-led training for the Certified Cloud Security Engineer (C|CSE) program. DDLS is an accredited training center for EC-Council programs in Australia, and the Philippines. Designed by cybersecurity subject matter experts, the program’s curriculum goes beyond the traditional concepts of cloud security. The first batch of the C|CSE class, which was conducted from April 25, 2022 to April 29, 2022, was a thundering success that was well-received by the students.
Cloud security is an in-demand skill in 2022. The need for cloud security professionals has never been so evident as it is now amidst rising security breaches in the cloud. EC-Council’s collaboration with DDLS to deliver C|CSE training will go a long way toward bridging the cloud security skills gap by training candidates in the fundamentals of best cloud security practices, technologies, and methodologies.
“The rapid proliferation of cloud services has exacerbated the security challenges faced by organizations,” says Jay Bavisi, CEO and President of EC-Council. “The lack of skilled cloud security professionals leaves companies vulnerable to threats and limits the functionality of cloud infrastructure. Our collaboration with DDLS is aimed at preparing a future cloud security workforce so that businesses can thrive in the digital market space.”
According to Flexera’s State of the Cloud Security Report 2022, 89% of organizations have a multi-cloud strategy. With this landscape, security professionals must pursue a certification that offers both vendor-neutral and vendor-specific approaches (AWS, Azure, and GCP) to build the foundational knowledge needed for adequate cloud security. C|CSE, the next level in cloud security, trains students in universally applicable cloud security practices, techniques, and tools to strengthen their grasp of the fundamentals and equip them with the skills needed to work with specific cloud platforms. Designed by renowned subject matter experts, the C|CSE offers not just theoretical knowledge but also hands-on technical experience.
