EC-Council Publishes 2021 C|EH Hall of Fame Report Showcasing the Very Best in Ethical Hackers from Around the World

TAMPA, Fla., May 30, 2022 — For more than 15 years, EC-Council’s Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) program has empowered cybersecurity professionals around the world to exercise their training and expertise to combat cyberattacks. The C|EH Hall of Fame celebrates those individuals who have excelled, achieved, and fostered a spirit of leadership among their colleagues and peers within the cyber community. The 2021 C|EH Hall of Fame Annual Report can be downloaded at https://www.eccouncil.org/ceh-hall-of-fame/annual-report-2021/.

This report highlights the importance of training and certification programs in increasing the talent pool used to fill the thousands of vital cybersecurity job positions that remain open today. Industry-respected certifications like the C|EH not only increase the supply of new candidates but also encourage the retention of indispensable mid- and upper-tier professionals, all while opening doors to exciting career opportunities.

EC-Council’s C|EH Hall of Fame recognizes the top performers in the C|EH program who scored 90% or higher on the C|EH certification exam. These top performers received invitations to apply to be featured in the C|EH Hall of Fame and become a member of the honored few. From tens of thousands of applicants, 1,000 cybersecurity professionals were shortlisted for the first round. Ultimately, 100 of those finalists were inducted into EC-Council’s C|EH Hall of Fame and admitted into the organization’s roster of cybersecurity professionals who consistently change the industry for the better. The continuing engagement of cyber professionals with up to 17 years of history with the C|EH is an indication of the value that is placed on this prestigious program.

“The C|EH Hall of Fame honors Certified Ethical Hackers who advance the cause of the industry and recognizes their contributions to society,” said Jay Bavisi, CEO and president of EC-Council. “We celebrate the accomplishments of these professionals and recognize the positive impact they have on their employers, teams, and communities around the globe.

“Organizations that have certified cybersecurity professionals orchestrating their defenses stand a better chance of withstanding the increasing onslaught of cyberattacks,” the C|EH Hall of Fame Annual Report states. “Certifications from globally reputable organizations are one of the best indicators of readiness to join the battle.”
