CEO, EC-Council Group and Chairman of the Board, EC-Council University, Jay Bavisi, Among the Elite Moderators at the 5th Annual Global Conference of Cyber Space (GCCS)

The London Process began as a conference on cyberspace hosted by the British Foreign Office following a proposal by the country’s Foreign Secretary William Hague at the Munich Security conference in 2011 for an international meeting to discuss “rules of the road” in cyberspace. The deliberation and emphasis of the London Process was to provide a cyberspace that was “open, global, safe and secure”, the specifics of which were to be developed through consensus on various principles and norms amongst the various stakeholders.

After crusading and establishing a footprint in London, Budapest, Seoul and Netherlands, Global Conference on Cyber Space (GCCS) is prepared to set foot in India this year. Discussing issues related to promotion of cooperation in cyberspace, norms for responsible behaviors in cyberspace and to enhance cyber capacity building, this fifth conference is planned to be the biggest in magnitude and will be inaugurated by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, with a representation of 50+ Ministerial delegates, 3000+ industry delegates participating from 100+ countries worldwide. The GCCS 2017 is certainly in accordance with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision to transform India into a digitally empowered country. GCCS 2017 will give the world’s cyber community a unique opportunity to learn from global experience and expert insight, and discover more about the technology led transformation being engineered in India

This two-day conference will revolve around the broad theme, “Cyber4All” with four prominent           sub-themes i.e. Cyber4InclusiveGrowth, Cyber4Digitalinclusion, Cyber4Security and Cyber4Diplomacy and will provide an opportunity for discussion on topics such as Blockchain Technology, Internet of Things, Proliferation of Indic languages and Smart Cities etc. GCCS will also host an interesting global cyber challenge called Peace-a-thon; an open challenge to computer wizards hosted by top Universities worldwide for competing in a Hackathon and an Appathon where 15 winning teams will compete in the grand finale in Delhi during Curtain Raiser.  Prize winners are proposed to be honored by the Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi.
