EC-Council is joining forces with Whitecliffe College to meet the growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals.
MARCH 28, 2022, ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., — EC-Council welcomes Whitecliffe College as its first academic partner in New Zealand. The joint venture aims to equip the next generation of talent to take the lead in thwarting cyberthreats by providing aspiring cybersecurity professionals with the latest tools, techniques, and skills to prevent businesses from falling prey to advanced cyberattacks.
According to Norton’s 2022 Cyber Safety Insights Report, 33% of New Zealanders experienced cybercrime in 2021, and cyberattacks on Waikato public hospitals, financial institutions, and the national postal service have underscored the urgent need to advance and strengthen the country’s cybersecurity measures. This union is designed to produce technically proficient cybersecurity professionals who are analytical and out-of-the-box thinkers, clear and concise communicators, and astute problem solvers.
