Xynexis and EC-Council Launch “EC-Council Incident Response (ECIHv2) Experience Class”

We often hear the term ‘cyber attacks’, which is any type of offensive maneuver that targets computer information systems, infrastructures, computer networks, or personal computer devices. The failure of a business process caused by a cyber attack can disrupt aspects like confidentiality, integrity, availability, security, reliability, and resilience. All incidents and problems that occur are the cause of the need for an information security system to protect information and infrastructure that is very valuable or critical. This is absolute cause for an information security professional to protect the information and the infrastructure that is extremely vital.

PT. Xynexis International, with EC-Council, have come together to provide the E|CIH (EC-Council Certified Incident Handler) Experience Class. The main objective is to train participants to handle security incidents with a holistic approach and to anticipate all problems that may occur

“The purpose of the training is to manage issues related to security incidents with best practices, using the framework offered by EC-Council,” said Eva Noor, CEO of PT. Xynexis International, on the sidelines of the closing of the training.

The training was held for three days from March 23-25th, 2019 at the Sultan Hotel Jakarta, with experienced trainers, cybersecurity experts from PT. Xynexis International, and official Certified EC-Council Instructor (CEI), Dedi Dwianto, M.Kom

E|CIH uses a holistic approach to handling incidents. Incident handlers act as the first responders at a technical level on various cybersecurity incidents in organizations. This concept starts from preparing the incident response process, to restore the organization’s assets after a cybersecurity incident.

This program is conducted in the form of training and workshops, along with the implementation of the certification exam for training participants. “This training is very important to handle and respond to various cybersecurity incidents and to give the best first incident response and to create a proper plan for incident response in organizations from cyberattacks on information assets they have in the future,” Tin Tin Hardijanto, EC-Council Country Manager said in a statement reported in Jakarta.

Participants who attended were from various industries, including the Financial Sector (Banking, Insurance, Financial Technology), Telecommunications, e-Commerce, Cybersecurity Consultants and Government Institutions.
