EC-Council was the Gold Sponsor for Night da Hack in Paris, a reputed security conference featuring a hacking and defense competition held annually in France, and this year’s event attracted more than 600 security professionals attending.

Paris, June 20th, 2010 – EC-Council was proud to collaborate in the Night da Hack once again following last year’s success. Attendees at this annual IT security conference included CIOs, CEOs and CTOs of large organisations, professors, security consultants, researchers and even students. The main objective of the event was to provide a common platform for both enthusiasts and professionals to learn, discuss and share on the global trends of the information security sphere.

One of the highlights of the event was the “Capture The Flag” (CTF) competition where EC-Council awarded the CTF competition winners with prizes including its authorized courseware and conference passes for the EC-Council’s Hacker Halted conference held in Miami, USA. “ With three times more participants this year as compared to last, Hacker’s Night was a great success and for the first time this year the event was not only held in French but in English also which opened the door to a wider audience ” commented Olivier Franchi, Associate Director at Sysdream.
