TRAINING INSTITUTION

1.What is an Authorized iBusiness Partner (AIP)?
A.

An AIP is a professional training, corporate or academic institution that deliver top-notch professional training on business subjects.

2. What are the benefits of being an AIP?
A.

  • Recognition as an AIP One of the most important benefits is your designation an IIB Authorized iBusiness Partners, which gives you the right to conduct our trainings, deliver exams and use of IIB’s AIP and certification programs logos on your promotional materials which will effectively differentiate your program from other training providers.
  • Marketing: IIB will also provide you with marketing materials to promote your organization. Non-Accredited AIPs’s will not be allowed to run or promote IIB trainings. We will award your students with Certificates of Achievement on the completion of the training program. The AIP Certificate of Achievement recognizes your program as Accredited by IIB.
  • Business Support: Running a training center requires you to make an investment in sales and marketing to build your business. IIB has a variety of programs and resources to help you target your customers and market your services such as periodic training for your sales team, technical online training for your potential customers (First Look) which are conducted by IIB lead trainers and other special offers etc. We will also guide and support you to launch your first IIB class successfully.
  • The AIP Portal: The high-tech industry changes rapidly, and IIB is no exception. Through our partner portal, ASPEN—you have access to updates and information about the AIP program. You will learn about new products, best practices, special offers, IIB news, and much more.
  • Access to Latest Updated Cutting-Edge Courseware can be expensive. IIB provides partners with discounted pricing on its annually updated IIB Official Curriculum.
  • Access to EC-Council Testing System IIB provides only accredited AIPs with access to ECC Exam Center This will allow you to conduct IIB exams for students from your training premise. There is no need for the hassle of having the test elsewhere. However, please note that you need to complete EC-Council Test Center agreement and Proctoring agreements for confidentiality and security purposes.
  • Direct Access to Technical Support & Certified iBusiness Instructors As an AIP, you have direct access to IIB technical support through e-mail. Our technical support specialist can answer your technical issues and enquiries about IIB website, courseware and exam portal. If you are interested, we can nominate one of our lead trainers to help you launch and conduct our first class successfully.

3. How can I become an AIP?

TRAINER

1. What are the benefits of being a Certified iBusiness Instructor (CII)?
A.

In addition to being in the select group that are authorized to lead IIB trainings, other benefits include:

  • Access to Secured Instructor Resource Portal: All CIIs gain access to a CII portal which contains instructional resources consisting of presentation slide decks, labs, lab setup guide, video’s, best practices and tools that will enable you to deliver your training effectively.
  • Exclusive CII Logo Usage: You will have exclusive rights to use the CII logo for web sites, business cards, marketing materials, and other documentation.
  • Dedicated Support and Communications: You have access to internal IIB training experts who will address any instructional queries or feedback which concerns the curriculum, exercises, and setup requirements of the course(s) you are certified to train.

2. What do I need to do to become a Certified iBusiness Instructor?
A.

  • Submit completed and signed CII Application Form and the Agreement.
  • If you are not an existing certified trainer for other major certification programs (eg., MCT, CTT+, etc), you will need to pass EC-Council CEI Exam.
  • You must be certified in the program that you intend to teach (eg., to teach CIMP, you will need to hold the CIMP certification, and additionally, if you then want to teach CDM, you will need to be CDM certified).
  • Ensure you have updated your EC-Council Continuing Education (ECE) credits through the Delta Portal (found within the Member's Portal) as your certification status must be in good standing.
  • An IIB Authorized iBusiness Partner (AIP) will need to endorse your application. In case there is none, IIB may, at its discretion, endorse the application.
  • You must possess technical expertise and hands-on experience with digital technologies and applications.
  • When your CII application is approved, IIB will send you an detailing the access to the CII Resources and this will be followed by a physical CII Certificate which will be mailed to you within 8 weeks from date of approval.

TEST CENTER

1. I am not an Authorized iBusiness Partner (AIP), can I apply to become an EC-Council Test Center?
A.

At this moment, only IIB Authorized iBusiness Partners (AIPs) can apply to become EC-Council Test Centers.

2. What is the advantage of being an EC-Council Test Center?
A.

You will be able to administer IIB exams for students who you have trained on IIB courses at your center. You may administer the exams 24/7 throughout the year.

3. Who can apply to become a Proctor?
A.

Any full time AIP employee, who is not an Certified iBusiness Instructor (CII)

4. How much does it cost to become an EC-Council Test Center?
A.

 It is absolutely free for Authorized iBusiness Partners (AIPs).
