EC-Council Collaborates With Maharaja Agrasen Business School To Embed Five Global Cybersecurity Certifications Into PGDM (Cybersecurity) Program

Curriculum integration supports hands-on learning and professional certification pathways.

New Delhi, India, March 3, 2026: EC-Council, the creator of the world-renowned Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) credential, has announced a strategic academic partnership with Maharaja Agrasen Business School (MABS) to integrate five globally recognized EC-Council cybersecurity certifications directly into MABS PGDM (Cybersecurity) curriculum.

This collaboration represents a significant step toward strengthening industry-aligned cybersecurity education by embedding role-based, hands-on cybersecurity credentials into formal management education, ensuring graduates are equipped with both academic excellence and real-world cyber readiness. As part of this partnership, MABS has integrated the following EC-Council certifications into its PGDM (Cybersecurity) program, which will be applicable from the upcoming academic cycle.

  • Certified Cloud Security Engineer (CCSE)
  • EC-Council Certified Incident Handler (ECIH)
  • Certified Network Defender (CND)
  • Certified Threat Intelligence Analyst (CTIA)
  • Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)

By integrating these certifications directly into the academic curriculum and delivering them through blended learning (instructor‑led sessions, hands‑on labs, and the EC‑Council Learning platform), rather than offering them as optional add‑ons the program provides structured instruction paired with practical, industry‑aligned cybersecurity training mapped to real‑world job roles.

The cybersecurity skills gap continues to widen globally, and the solution lies in embedding industry-validated, hands-on credentials directly into academic programs,” said Jay Bavisi, Group President,    EC-Council. “By integrating five of our globally recognized, role-based certifications into MABS PGDM (Cybersecurity) curriculum, this partnership ensures students graduate not only with academic qualifications, but with practical, job-ready skills aligned to real-world enterprise.

The partnership is designed to:

  • Bridge the gap between academic instruction and industry cybersecurity requirements
  • Equip students with job-ready, role-based cybersecurity skills
  • Enhance graduate employability through globally recognized certifications
  • Build a future-ready cybersecurity talent pipeline

This academia–industry collaboration enables MABS students to graduate with both a PGDM qualification and multiple internationally valued EC-Council certifications, significantly improving career outcomes. It strengthens MABS’ academic value proposition while contributing to the development of skilled cybersecurity professionals.

In today’s interconnected digital world, cybersecurity and risk awareness are no longer the domain of technologists alone – they are essential leadership competencies. Our collaboration with EC-Council reflects MABS’ commitment to future-ready education, where management students gain exposure to globally recognized frameworks that enhance both their academic depth and career preparedness,” said Amit Agarwal, Secretary, Maharaja Agrasen Technical Education Society (MATES).

Ongoing academic engagements such as expert talks and webinars underscore the long-term nature of this partnership. These recurring activities help build sustained awareness around cybersecurity, digital resilience, and certification pathways, while empowering students to make more informed academic and career decisions. This continued engagement will further enhance the impact and visibility of our collaboration in a meaningful way.
