SINGAPORE, JANUARY 8, 2023 – EC-Council, a global leader in cybersecurity education and training, and inventor of Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), announces the appointment of Denise Yu as its Chief Financial Officer, effective January 8th, 2023. In her strategic role, Denise will spearhead financial leadership to drive growth and transformation for EC-Council’s online cybersecurity learning and skills development platform. She will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategies, leading the global finance organization, and overseeing key areas such as planning, accounting, tax, audit, treasury, reporting, and investor relations. Denise will also serve as the Executive Sponsor for all DEI and ESG initiatives.
Denise Yu brings a wealth of experience to her position, having served as a seasoned finance, commercial, and operations executive. Recognized as a leader in transformation and a proud champion of diversity and inclusion, Denise is poised to leverage her expertise to propel EC-Council into a new era of growth and innovation.

With over 20 years of experience, Denise Yu most recently served as the Global Head of Monetization and Enterprise Sales Strategy at Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), where she played a pivotal role in driving sustainable business growth. Her previous role as Chief Financial Officer and Head of Sales Operations for the Americas at Criteo showcased her ability to orchestrate successful turnaround strategies for a $1 billion region.
Denise’s extensive career also includes senior finance roles at Fortune 500 corporations such as The Interpublic Group (NYSE: IPG) and Thomson Reuters (NYSE: TRI), along with instrumental commercial positions in two successful SaaS start-ups—InQuent Technologies, acquired by AT&T (NYSE: T), and ValueCommerce, acquired by Yahoo! Japan (TYO: 2491).
Denise holds a Masters of Business Administration from the Rotman School of Management and both a Master and Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.
