By participating in this survey and providing the information, you provide your explicit consent and agree to the below mentioned terms and conditions of participation.
Eligibility:
1.1 To participate in this survey, you must have reached the legal age of majority as permitted by the laws of your country of residence /nationality.
Survey Content
2.1 The survey questions and content and any derivatives thereof are the sole property of EC-Council and are protected by intellectual property laws.
2.2 EC-Council reserves the right to use the survey data for research and analysis purposes, subject to applicable law. The survey reports may be shared with internal and external stakeholders, researchers, and partners to facilitate collaborative research efforts and foster knowledge sharing.
2.2 You agree not to copy, distribute, modify, or reproduce any part of the survey without the explicit written consent of EC-Council.
Confidentiality and Privacy
3.1 While we may make every effort to maintain the confidentiality of the responses you submit through our survey, we cannot guarantee absolute confidentiality as the data travels over the internet. Please be aware that there might be inherent risks associated with transmitting information online, and you acknowledge and accept these risks when participating in our survey. We recommend exercising caution and refraining from including any sensitive or confidential information in your responses. Your responses will be used solely for the purpose as defined above.
3.2 Personal identification information collected during the survey will be handled in accordance with EC-Council’s Privacy Policy.
3.3 EC-Council will not share your individual responses with any third parties without your explicit consent unless required by law, regulations, rules or any order of a competent court.
Voluntary Participation and Withdrawal
4.1 Participation in the survey is voluntary, and you can withdraw your participation at any time without penalty.
4.2 If you choose to withdraw, any data provided up to the point of withdrawal will be considered the property of EC-Council and may still be used by EC-Council for purpose defined above.
Data Accuracy and Integrity
5.1 You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information in the survey.
5.2 EC-Council reserves the right to disqualify or exclude any participant who provides false or misleading information.
Limitation of Liability
7.1 EC-Council shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your participation in the survey or any reliance on the survey results or any another liability arising under this Agreement. EC-Council’s total liability arising out of the breach of this Agreement shall be limited to $10.
7.2 EC-Council makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the survey or its results.
Disclaimer:
8.1 EC-Council strongly advises against including any sensitive information of any kind, such as bank details, or any confidential or proprietary information belonging to you or any third party in the survey. We cannot guarantee the confidentiality of such data submitted through your response, and therefore, you acknowledge that EC-Council will not be held responsible if you include any confidential or proprietary information in your response.
8.2 Please be aware that all surveys provided by EC-Council are offered on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. We do not provide any warranty that the survey or any email sent will be free of viruses or other harmful components. It is your responsibility to take appropriate precautions to protect your data and devices while interacting with our surveys and communications.
Governing law and jurisdiction
9.1 This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Singapore].
9.2 Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be submitted for arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator appointed by EC-Council. The parties involved shall abide by the arbitrator’s decision, which will be final and binding on all parties. The venue for such arbitration shall be Singapore and language shall be English.
9.3. To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that any proceedings or disputes shall be resolved on an individual basis whether in arbitration, in court or otherwise. You shall not seek to have any dispute heard as a class action, a representative action, a collective action, a private-attorney general action or in any proceeding in which you act or tend to act in a representative capacity. No arbitration or proceeding will be joined, combined, or consolidated with any other arbitration proceedings to which EC-Council is a party without EC-Council’s prior written consent.
Modifications
9.1 EC-Council reserves the right to modify or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
9.2 Updated versions of the Terms and Conditions will be posted on EC-Council’s website or communicated through other means.
By participating in the survey, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
