Scholarship Terms and Conditions

  • Scholarships are limited in number and subject to availability.
  • Scholarships are granted on a per-certification course basis.
  • Scholarships are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • Vouchers issued under this scholarship may not be redeemed for their monetary value.
  • Decisions on scholarships are final, and no further correspondence will be considered.
  • Candidates must be 14 years of age or older.
  • Candidates may apply for multiple certifications with individual applications but may not apply for the same certification on multiple occasions.
  • Candidates must provide true and accurate information. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification of their application or access.
  • Candidates are encouraged to provide feedback on their experience in written or verbal format upon the successful completion of their program(s).
    EC-Council reserves the right to publish these reviews in association with the scholarship.

FAQs

This scholarship focuses on strengthening the USA’s cybersecurity posture through academic communities. It is available to academic students, faculty, employees, and administration within a U.S. institution, as defined by the Department of Education (DoE). The scholarship is also available for military service members and their dependents.
Full scholarships providing access to eBook and videos are provided at no cost. Partial scholarships carry administrative and processing fees within this initiative that may include, but are not limited to administrative tracking, reporting, support, certification, and member services.
The access term for the course resources is 12 months from the date of the voucher redemption.
Candidates who receive the Full Scholarship will not receive a Certificate of Completion but may upgrade to receive one at $9.99. Candidates who receive the Partial Scholarship will receive a Certificate of Completion as well as an exam voucher to attempt the industry certification. If they pass the exam, they will receive an official EC-Council Certification.
Yes, each of the 8 Essentials Series courses offers an industry certification for candidates who pass the certification exam.
Candidates receiving Partial Scholarships, which include a certification exam, will receive an exam voucher with Remote Proctor Services (RPS). Candidates may then schedule their exam independently by following the exam instructions for remote testing via the EC-Council Exam Center.
